Easy Oatmeal Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup milk or water
  • 1 pinch salt (optional)
Optional Toppings
Banana slices Apple chunks Honey or maple syrup Cinnamon Peanut butter Chopped nuts

Method
 

  1. Pour milk or water into a small saucepan and heat on medium until it simmers gently.
  2. Stir in rolled oats and a pinch of salt. Reduce heat to low.
  3. Cook for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until soft and creamy.
  4. Transfer to a bowl and add your favorite toppings. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • Use milk for creamier oatmeal, water for lighter oatmeal.
  • Adjust liquid for preferred thickness.
  • Sweeten with honey or maple syrup if desired.
